The Official Team Crooked Jester website will be closed down for a prolonged time period. As many of you know, I have been looking into alternate methods of distribution for our videos since I have been unimpressed with YouTube. However, in the past month, they have made several changes for their service that may correct my feelings about them; and if it does, then that means I won't have to write my own video library. The first of two important changes would be: the inclusion of high quality videos. YouTube claims that they will begin offering high quality video streams to users within the next few months. My biggest complaint has always been the low quality they offer compared to their competitors, and this could do much to quell my complaints. The second important addition to YouTube has already been implemented: Custom Video Players. With these new codes, I can use embed code with a multiple videos, instead of a single video per embed; this makes it easier to distribute videos based specific events. Even though the website and the link library is gone, I have decided to offer direct links to our backend video library. Once I manage to get around to writing our flash based video library, these videos will be removed; so be sure to get them while you can. All of our past videos, including previously unavailable videos (such as those from our recent Halloween Havoc event) are available on these links. |
